Sheer black open-weave mesh skims the body in what might be called an anti-gown: present and absent, dressed and undressed, always both. Over this ground, a graphic applique in textured cord traces a symbolic pattern from bodice to hem, deliberate as calligraphy.
Long braided tassels cascade from the sleeves and hem, referencing the kinetic adornment of Sahelian costume. The low back, fully revealed only in motion, completes the picture. Handcrafted in the Joseph Ejiro atelier. Part of the Homecoming FW25 collection.
