The collar precedes everything. Engineered from multiple layers of black mikado folded and stitched into a wide, upright sculptural frame, it draws on the ceremonial neck adornments of Kalabari masquerade regalia while arriving at something wholly contemporary. The jacket beneath is tailored close to the torso, button-front closure, clean lapels, long sleeves, balancing the extravagance of the collar with a studied quietness everywhere else. Each piece is made to measure in San Diego and fulfilled individually to the client’s exact dimensions.
Dry clean only. Do not wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Iron on reverse side on a low heat setting with a pressing cloth. Store hanging in a breathable garment bag away from direct light.
