The Olive Cascade Gown is built on that principle: composed at the front, where the column silhouette reads with quiet authority, and then suddenly alive at the back, where a sequence of sculptural ruffles cascades from the open spine in a single unbroken motion. This is the tension at the heart of Veillée FW26, structure against flow, the held breath and the release. Cut in deep forest olive mikado, a fabric chosen for its weight and its resistance, the gown holds its shape without stiffness. The mikado gives the ruffles their volume and their stillness in repose, so that when the wearer moves, the contrast is felt all the more acutely. The open back is finished with a self-fabric loop closure. The floor-length hem trails slightly, lending the silhouette its full ceremonial gravity. Like all pieces from Veillée, this gown is demi-couture at its most intentional: slow, considered, and deeply felt. Made to measure. Production time four to six weeks.
Care: Dry clean only. Store hanging in a breathable garment bag away from direct light. Do not compress the ruffle structure during storage or transit. If minor creasing occurs, steam gently from a distance of at least 30 cm; do not apply a direct iron to the mikado surface.
