The Foldover Clutch in Deep Plum is constructed from mikado, a firmly woven silk-effect fabric with a natural body and a subtle sheen that gives the bag its quietly opulent character. The deep aubergine tone sits somewhere between purple and near-black, shifting in different lights and making this clutch as suited to a formal evening as it is to a more composed daytime look. The bag shares the same generous foldover silhouette as the Midnight Black edition and is secured by the same slim gold bar clasp at the centre front. The brand name is spelled in gold on the upper left face of the bag. The mikado holds its structure beautifully, maintaining the clean fold whether the bag is full or carried empty. The interior is lined.
