Red Velvet Sculptural Bodice Gown

A red velvet bodice is hand-sculpted into an overscaled floral at the shoulder, its folds compressed and released with the precision of ceremonial textile work. The waist is anchored by a narrow black belt before the silhouette gives way entirely to a floor-length skirt in sheer bridal chiffon, black and weightless.

The opposition is deliberate: opaque above, translucent below, structure dissolving into atmosphere. This is arrival. One of the opening statements of the Homecoming FW25 collection by Joseph Ejiro, a Nigerian-founded luxury fashion house working at the intersection of avant-garde construction and West African cultural memory.
