Black Structural Mesh Sculpted Mini Dress

Stiff structural black mesh is sculpted here not into a gown but into something closer to architecture, its gravity-defying waves and organic folds transforming the body’s silhouette entirely. A short asymmetrical hemline and cap sleeves anchor the piece in the quotidian even as its forms reach toward the abstract.

The result is less a dress than a study in what fabric can be asked to do when its maker refuses its default behaviour. Handcrafted in the Joseph Ejiro atelier. Part of the Homecoming FW25 collection.
